About the Event

Please join Chris Morasky for a fun and informative adventure learning about a diverse array of plants in a

beautiful Topanga Canyon. We’ll be exploring a shady cool creekside, so please make sure to bring a bag,

as we will be gathering and sampling a variety of plants. Our location is not your average hike, though,

you must be prepared to scramble over some boulders and hike through a huge tunnel under the Topanga

Canyon Blvd. Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes.

Chris Morasky is a wildlife biologist with over 35 years of teaching experience. He is considered one of the

top Stone Age skills experts in the US. Chris has homesteaded along the most remote mail route in the lower

48 states, led totally Stone Age expeditions, lived with a handful of native tribes, worked in the most dangerous

job in the world and nearly died 6 times. His courses about foraging, natural living and ancient skills are

presented through a lens exploring who we are, how we got here and where we might be headed.

We will meet outside Jalan Jalan Imports at 525 S. Topanga Canyon Blvd, Topanga. Jalan Jalan Imports is

located 0.7 miles south of the jct of Topanga and Old Topanga Blvds. It is on Topanga Blvd, on the west side

of the road. Please park down the street, just south or north of the import store.
